I get the money thing of course. So just own that and say so. The whole “I’m so sorry I’m leaving” thing feels so disingenuous.
Is that your yearly post done and dusted? Was muß, das muß.

Haha well no, but they could say something like “This was a deal I couldn’t turn down” or suchlike. Just the whole pretence of being so upset at going when, they absolutely don’t have to & could just stay, feels a bit silly.Originally posted by Fivex View PostDoubt they could actually say “they picked me, so sorry to leave you guys but I’m off to do a bit of sportswashing. Find that hard to believe. If he was a bad egg, he wouldn’t have survived and succeeded for so long under Klopp. We all saw how quickly Jürgen shipped out Sakho.Originally posted by SB View PostPenant claiming he’s heard from within the Club that Fabinho was a bad egg. Exactly this. I’m sure we’d have heard or noticed something long before this.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostFind that hard to believe. If he was a bad egg, he wouldn’t have survived and succeeded for so long under Klopp. We all saw how quickly Jürgen shipped out Sakho.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

As per the article - “Liverpool flop” Jermaine Pennant in the daily Star ffs. That line alone should tell you why there is nothing believable in that click bait ****!Originally posted by SB View PostPenant claiming he’s heard from within the Club that Fabinho was a bad egg. As others have said, Klopp wouldn’t have kept him if he was trouble. His Mrs had questionable political preferences and maybe he did….. that’s about all I know

Coming from Pennant the words pot and kettle come to mind...Originally posted by SB View PostPenant claiming he’s heard from within the Club that Fabinho was a bad egg. Never heard any suggestions of that before
https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...klopp-30606729The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I suppose it's neither here nor there if he was a "bad egg" which I can't really see it but imo we got his best years & it's good business, well providing we do indeed get a replacement or replacements in that is. Ideally we would liked this to be done weeks or months ago to bed players in but the Saudi's have really thrown a spanner in the works in this window.
I just have that little worry that we will leave ourselves short in that midfield.
