He is the first one we have sold this summer that is from our first team squad though, so he makes our squad thinner. Maybe it just makes a fat squad more the right size but I think it means we need to add an attacking midfield player. (I thought we needed to anyway!)

Cutting through the noise, it seems we have at least 2 players lined up to bring in still this summer (1 mid, 1 attacker). Looks like sales first, then incomings.

Replacing him is a difficult one, he's been a good option for us when he has come into the side, but to be honest he hasn't got on the pitch anywhere near as much as he would have liked but hasn't complained about it you don't find many players of that kind of quality who are 'happy' to be on the bench. Elliott seems the obvious option to replace him but Minamino too could get more minutes if he sticks around.

Lovely player Shaq, cracking strike of a ball but massive fitness issues & not sure if Klopp likes him tactically. Hopefully get a good price for him as he does have alot of quality and the Euros was a nice little show case for him to remind teams of that.

I’m guessing sarcasm cause he’s been no problem since he’s been with us other than injury

He's been a model squad player and often done what substitutes are supposed to when they come into a game - make an impact.

I'm sure he's helped the first team play better as part of the squad on training and giving competition.

If he goes I would hope we get a decent sum to reinvest otherwise I'd keep him in the squad unless he really wants to move and play more regularly.
