Hopefully our kit sales are about to go through the roof in Japan.

I guess this is the Fekir alternative......I’ve gorged on videos of him since we were linked and whilst not as good a dribbler he can play deeper and works harder. He seems such a good fit on so many levels

Yeah I thought it was pronounced min-a-meen-o? If it’s min-a-man-o then it works brilliantly!

He pronounce it himself above, and it isn't min-a-man-o.

Got him in for less than we sold Ryan Kent for in the summer.

We are making up for years of being absolutely wank at transfers by being astonishing at them.

An offensive 5 of Keita, Minamino, Salah, Mane and Bobby. Complete mare for the opposition

Will he play in the front 3 or midfield?

Any of them - predominantly off the right for Salzburg but they changed to a diamond vs us where he played as a 10. I’d even say he could be back up to Bobby or play as one of the 8s in midfield

Yeah, he seems to be able to flit across a lot of positions at will but in the two games I've seen him in I see him as a number 10.

Look, its going to be a step up in what he's used to so he's certain to start somewhere across the front three/four imo. I don't think he's quite ready for a midfield three.

He looks plenty strong and skilful enough. Will be a gem in terms of marketing, but I am sure he should only have cost one million dollars.

The match at Anfield was the first game I'd been to for a year and this was the one player that really stood out to me, so I'm pretty excited about this.

He's got the work ethic and energy that we need, so he'll hopefully slot in well, but we need to let him settle in. It seems there's a little more expectancy on him than there really should be at this price, especially considering that most of us didn't know of his existence until this year.

Good article on the BBC about Minamino...

Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

We could get more for Karius if Besiktas follow through on their £8m commitment.
