Edit: sorry, thought you were talking about the goal.

You really blame him for that?

Thought he was pretty solid today. Did plenty of great things.

One of few players to come away from game with any credit.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Another really positive game for him, But he is bench material at best for Liverpool; so shows exactly how we are suffering without £££££ to constantly invest.

We are losing games because we cant score at the xmas office party and theres a free bar, not because of our makeshift defence.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

A bump because I didn't like that we seemed to be talking about everyone but him.

I thought he did OK against Everton. The one possible blackmark was the second goal, but he did no worse in that play than several others.

                      Decent.

Thought he was very good vs Sheff. Solid, nothing spectacular, no nonsense and has his limitations but reads the game well & is a battler. His physical presence is very welcome in certain games, whether or not he is good enough to be a mainstay in the squad is up for debate. At the moment I would have him as a starter every week at CB ahead of the rest.

I really like him and don't think he's getting enough praise. The only thing he did wrong was he got too tight to Ollie Burke near the line and ended up being rolled, he's been impressive I think though and he's solid too, really aggressive.

Given how uncertain the availability of gomez and matip is then imagine how solid a pairing of philips and vvd would be.
Its never been more clear that having a squad isnt the safeguard it should be when many of them are rarely available.

He has done well considering he has played next to 3 or 4 different players so credit to him but to think he will be first choice next season is nonsence. When all are fit he is fighting for 5th choice with Davies. If Klopp doesn't sign Kazbak he will go find another CB as 4th choice.
A good solid but limited player with an excellent attitude, he will do somebody a fine job in the championship or lower level PL.
