So i was feeling abit bored and decided to ask chatgpt (along the lines of recent comments from SB, Exiled Red, Kenneth, Dan, Doc (Jaco), Cerbie, Frank) with input:
"Should my football club sell my current player Diaz and sign Gordon from another club based upon the analysis and feelings as per inputs from my fan club base"
The outcome was:
Strategic Considerations
Pros of Signing Gordon:
Younger player with room to develop
High-intensity winger with great pace and pressing
Potential synergy with new creative players (e.g., Wirtz)
Cons of Selling Díaz for Gordon:
Net downgrade in current production (especially goals)
Poor perceived value for money
Fan backlash risk due to Gordon’s reputation
No consensus that Gordon is a true upgrade
✅ Final Recommendation:
Do not sell Díaz to buy Gordon unless:
You negotiate a significantly lower fee for Gordon.
You believe in Gordon’s long-term potential and can manage his reputation.
You’re confident he’ll fit tactically (e.g., with Wirtz or a similar playmaker).
You have a PR plan to manage potential fan backlash.
Right now, the risks outweigh the benefits, especially considering performance stats, price, and negative fan sentiment.

I wouldn't worry about the diving, while he might win pens for Newcastle by doing it. Referees won't give him anything if he comes here, Salah can (and does) have the **** kicked out of him and referees give nothing.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostHe's a horrible cheat and the idea of us signing him needs to get ****ed.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

What it doesn’t take into consideration is the fact that Diaz is angling for the move.Originally posted by Myo View PostSo i was feeling abit bored and decided to ask chatgpt (along the lines of recent comments from SB, Exiled Red, Kenneth, Dan, Doc (Jaco), Cerbie, Frank) with input:

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Gordon? (Not in favour of this, only big plus with him is being home grown)
Rodrygo? (There seem to have been questions about his training work rate etc)
Who else?
Gakpo and then bring in someone to be Gakpo's cover.
But if able to get anyone at all in a fantasy football manner, then would love Barcola in our squad.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Hasn't he just agreed to go to Spurs?Originally posted by spud_gun View PostIf Diaz is leaving then I'd like to have seen us sign Kudus as his replacement.
