He will count as HG eventually. In the short term it is a little complicated for PL as an under 21 he would count as a youngster for the next few years. With the CL its slightly different he would need to be named in the main squad if we want to play him there as he would be ineligible for the B list for CL as he hasn't been at LFC long enough.. We came across this issue wit Elliot previously. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...liott-21454373
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Nah, Klopp went cold on Darwin after you said he was no better than Ivan Toney.

Does this lad play in a wide forward role like Salah and Mane...could he maybe be thrust into the first team with Mane looking like he will leave?

He played as wide forward for Fulham. I dont think he is anything like Thiago

Played a lot as a number 10 picking the balls up between the lines. I think Klopp has been searching for a midfielder who can burst between the lines - Ox started doing that when he got badly injured.

it will be really interesting to see if the likes of Carvalho, Elliot, Jones can break through and be proper first teamers going forward.......and a few younger lads below as well like Gordon.....and maybe that Musialowski fella

With other squad players looking like moving on (Origi, Minamino, Ox) and the number of games our other midfielders have missed historically you would have to think that there will be chances for the likes of Jones and Elliott in particular. I am interested to see where we see Carvalho playing and how much game time he will get. There will also likely be more cup game time for the other youngsters.

Now that the window is officially open, can we expect to see some photos of this fella performing the lean?

that's exactly the type of player we need that can drive forward, I liked that style that Ox had, unfortunately he just couldn't do it very well & couldn't stay fit very well either. Interesting to see how he gets on, he's a lot more technically gifted than Ox. The gulf from Championship to Prem is massively and most can't cut it but hopefully this kid can push on and translate that form into the prem. Very young still and next season will be a learning curve for him.
