have to agree the SUarez comparisons are ridiculous. He had a terrific body of work behind him when he came.

Nunez had 1 amazing season and even then look at his blooper reel from that season and its pretty bad.

He works hard, creates chaos but not sure I will ever be confident when he is shooting.

Yeah, I think that is why I saw his faults so clearly today. That new barnet is brutal.

Suarez was a top 3 player in the world.

His touch and control was amazing.

Nunez doesnt have a great touch. He is mostly pace and power. Great if you can harness it, but I dont see what some people see. I think he will always be inconsistent because his game is built on his physique and not his skill.

We will have to take the bad with the good. But thats fine in a roster with 5 good forwards. Obviously if we are down Salah and Jota on January, we will need him at his best.

Is it worth pointing out that our 3rd and 4th goals today were in no small part helped by Nunez? The third with a nicely cushioned header to Salah who layed it off to Endo, and the 4th when he was alive to the Gakpo shot to lift the ball back into the danger area where it fell to Trent?

It's worth pointing out. But it will fall on deaf ears.

He definitely plays a part, but he also misses chances that no Liverpool number 9 should be missing on a regular basis. There are two sides to him. I don't think the good parts outway the bad right now.

                      Also fair.

He's getting lots of game time so at least we will find out fairly quickly one way or another. If he plays majority of games this season and we're still talking about it come May, then that's probably it.

Do people actually remember Firmino? Like, really remember him?

He missed so many chances it wasn't funny. As did Mane. We just created so many (and had Mo at his absolute best slotting them regularly) that it didn't matter, because another chance would come shortly after.

The problem now, is that we're not creating anywhere near the amount of clear cut chances and most are falling to Darwin and Mo, who have been patchy at best.

26 shots yesterday, 12 on target. We are creating loads. We are third top scorers in the League 32 in 14 games (dehind City and Villa). Darwin played well. He just needs a goal after 6 games without.

I’m so not concerned by his goal scoring ratio due to his all round involvement. Same as with Bobby , he’ll go matches without scoring but majorly involved in the result. Plus he pisses Pep off
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

No, that is a fair point, I do remember him at the start and I do remember thinking we'd bought a right chuffer! I gave him stick at the time as well

He almost wants it too badly. He is soo unbelievably eager to impress and be a hero. It’s very endearing. However, a cooler, more calculated approach might pay dividends. He seems to be 100000% at all times.
