Im well in to this MMA stuff and it seem smost people think Pride is a better promotion than the UFC????

I haven't seen anything of Pride, so I can't really comment on it, but I think that the standard of UFC is quite high and CroCop won't have it totally his own way. For instance, he wont be able to kick or knee his opponents in the heed when they are down.

Im looking forward to seeing what he can produce. Is it worth me getting into the Pride MMA a bit more??

Yeah I love Pride.

Bigger crowds, the rules are more entertaining IMO, I like the judging structure better, the whole show in general is awesome and I think the fighters are better.

Will be interesting to see how CroCop adapts to the no Footballing kicking while they are down. He doesn't stomp a lot but it's an option he won't have.

I like the rules personally, more like a real fight and it's entertaining. Chute Box fighters like the stomp, W. Silva does it a lot.

UFC seems to have a lot of American fighters while I think Pride has more variety. Also because of the ring it doesn't allow fights to get caught up alongside the cage and get bogged down.

But that's just my opinion.

Seeing the fighters enter into an arena with 50,000 people in it is unreal!

Pride hasn't quite been the same for me though since Bas Rutten stopped comentating on their pay per views. Bas is a legend and probably MMa's biggest charachter. If you fancy a laugh try downloading Bas Ruttens leathal self defence DVD, it's hilarious!

Absoultely, I can see Couture somehow taking down Silvia, despite his take down defence. If he does, Couture is going to have his arm raised.

I worry about Coutoure's stand up against Sivlia though. surely Tim will dominate this department given his huge size and reach.

Valid point, but knowing Couture, he will step back and make Silvia over reach. Leaving him open for the shoot. Watch my theory now go completely out the window!!!
