Hatton's getting caught a bit to much with the southpaw hook for my liking. He's still boxing well though.

Urango has taken round 9 IMHO. He caught Hatton with a good few punches, to many infact!!!

was very upprised with the scoring of that fight, Urango is lacking some real world clas experience, as soon as he gets that and this fight will have done hi more good than harm, he could give hatton even more problems the next time. Good win for Ricky though, Castillo seemed to be in a similar place to hatton tonight, lets just see who can whip themselves into the better shape.

Very very good win for Hatton, he just had too much ring savvy for Juan, and that experience counted. I had hoped that Juan would have shown more than he did, he normally mixes it up a bit more and brings a bit more variety to his performances, but I'll credit the lack of that to Hatton forcing the issue and dictating the pace and style of the fight.


I think the score of 119 -109 was a bit harsh though as there were a few nip and tuck rounds, but there is no doubt that Hatton clearly won.

I hate the pundits and a lot of the press, it's like I said before, if Hatton did not flatten Urango, then people would be making critical comments about Hatton. People had no idea how strong and tough Urango is, and are not giving Hatton enough credit for beating such a fighter.
