It seems Mayweather wants a bit of Hatton after the De La Hoya fight. He says that Hatton is fat and too slow for him. He says he wants to show Hatton that he is not in his class

American great Floyd Mayweather has dismissed unbeaten Englishman Ricky Hatton, an IBF champion, as a fat man with a beer gut.
Hatton, who last month regained the IBF light welterweight title with a 12-round unanimous decision over Colombia's Juan Urango, is eager to fight against Mayweather.
The American, who was expected to retire after facing Oscar De La Hoya in May, has now hinted that he could delay his retirement to fight Hatton in England.
"Ricky Hatton ain't nothing but a fat man. I'm going to punch him in his beer belly," Mayweather told BBC Sport.
"He ain't good enough to be my sparring partner. I'm retiring in America, that don't mean I'm retiring in the UK."
The 29-year-old later back-tracked on the possibility of fighting Hatton, but it is clear that England's two-weight world champion remains an irritant to him.
The man from Michigan is unbeaten in 37 fights, a former world champion in four weight divisions and arguably the best fighter, pound-for-pound, in the world.
"When I retire, I'll get Ricky Hatton to wash my clothes and cut my lawn and buckle my shoes," said Mayweather, adding that he had been unimpressed by what he had seen of Hatton's fight against Urango.
"I've seen Ricky Hatton fight only once and that was against Urango and he looked like garbage. All he can do is punch and hold, punch and hold and wrestle.
It's obvious that his fights are not more exciting than mine," he told BBC.
Hatton, 28, is unbeaten in 42 fights and is set for a meeting against Mexican veteran Jose Luis Castillo in June. If he can come through that encounter unscathed and Mayweather defeats De La Hoya, demand for a fight between the two later in the year could mount.
