Here's England's 30 man squad which needs cutting to 15 by tomorrow:

    1. JM Anderson
    2. IR Bell
    3. RS Bopara
    4. SCJ Broad
    5. G Chapple
    6. R Clarke
    7. PD Collingwood
    8. AN Cook
    9. JWM Dalrymple
    10. A Flintoff
    11. AF Giles
    12. MJ Hoggard
    13. EC Joyce
    14. A Khan
    15. J Lewis
    16. MB Loye
    17. SI Mahmood
    18. PA Nixon (wicketkeeper)
    19. G Onions
    20. MS Panesar
    21. KP Pietersen
    22. LE Plunkett
    23. MJ Prior (wicketkeeper)
    24. CMW Read (wicketkeeper)
    25. OA Shah
    26. VS Solanki
    27. AJ Strauss
    28. CT Tremlett
    29. MP Vaughan
    30. MH Yardy

Injured players can be replaced by the other 15:

    Who would you pick?

My 15 are in bold. Biggest surprise was Solanki in for Joyce, but I think Solanki is a match winner on his day and has more experience of ODI's than Joyce. Tough decision though.

That would be my squad, but Nixon is more likely to go than Prior. A bit short on the batting front but the bowlers are more likely to get tired and pick up niggles in the heat.

So you're going for 2 keepers.

        No Hoggard, Giles or Cook

I think Giles deserves his place ahead of Dalrymple because he is a tight bowler when he needs to be, not particularly threatening but tight.
Mahmood's bowling is too loose for me, I'd rather have Hoggie.

I like the selection of Broad, I'd love to see how he copes.

That’d be mine. Jon Lewis & Hoggy would be unlucky to miss out, but Plunks & Saj have bowled well lately. Mahmood is loose at times and drifts off line too frequently, but he has a superb slower ball in his locker, can bowl at 90mph and he takes wickets. Strauss does well to keep his place as ideally he ought to go away, figure out what’s gone wrong and start making some runs again, but his knock the other day might give him some confidence. He’s an important presence, too.

Probably true but you never know, they might lose to Scotland

I'm shocked at the amount of votes Saj Mahmood is getting

He's one of our most expensive quick bowlers ever.

I really like him, and clearly the England hierarchy do too.

He’s erratic but so young that there’s room to develop. He takes wickets. Plunkett was hideously expensive the other day but he bowls wicket taking deliveries too. They’re both so young with so much potential, which is presumably why the selectors seemingly have so much faith in the pair.
