Of course, were England actually brilliant and these other countries **** then that might alter.

Sorry, but it always winds me up with cricket that folk tend to just follow the good teams and not the country they come from.

Moan over and apologies to anyone who actually doesn't have a British passport.
Look, I was born here, but support India. I dont support England in any sport.
Even if I was born in Gutamala I would still be an Indian supporter. It's just like going to any Italian cafe/Greek/Portugese/French restaurant anywhere in England or even the World (outside of their respective countries) etc and asking why they support their home country rather than the one they were born in. Sara if you dont want to follow your Dad's country that's your choice.

I don't support Ireland cause they are **** - that's the point - if they were Champions of the World I may well do

I always thought people's home country was the one they were born in

I think this only ever comes up in cricket and I've had the discussion before because someone said they supported England at football but INdia at cricket cause India were **** at football

Big mistake leaving Broad out IMO and also I am not sure what Bopara adds to the squad what with us having Dalrymple and Panasar.

I hope we don't open our bowling with Anderson and Lewis. If we do we are going to go for some serious tappage!

              At least no Gough!

i agree with what you say about bopara i reckon they might open with anderson and plunkett

As much as I would like it to be Pakistan's tournament, i think they are a little too inconsistent.

One day amazing, then the next very very plain. This series against South Africa again shows it.

I think the semi's will consist of Australia, New Zealand,South Africa and the West Indies.

NZ are so consistent when they get to the tournament, always do fairly well.

I'm pleased that Nixon was picked but a little worried that he's the only specialist keeper

Not as specialised though is he? I thought they might go for someone else. Oh well. We'll just have to wait and see.
