I think India will have a good tourny, can see them as semi finalists and maybe more if they get the rub of the green.

They certainly have a better chance than England unfortunately. I like India though so will be supporting them as my second team.

Good bowlers don't need assistance from pitches.

Well we bought back the series and won it 2-1, shows plenty of bottle imo and Ganguly, Dravid and Singh are hitting abit of form with the bat now so i think India have a great chance of winning it. Also good to see Shewag get some runs!

Good comeback - it will be interesting to see how India perform. Their fans have huge expectations. Hope they play Pakistan at some stage.

Off course they do. Good Bowlers just know how to use the conditions more to their advantage than the not so good ones.

If the pitch offers no assistance to the Bowler, even the Best will struggle

Bollocks, good bowlers can exploit the ball and a pitch that will offer very little help.

They bowl to a plan and frustrate the batsman, they don't just run up and bowl the ball as fast as they can ball after ball. They vary the pace, line and length in accordance to this plan or the reaction that the batsman has given a previous shot, Sreesanth hardly does any of this.

He bowled quite a good variety in SA recently. Also he's a Baby. What you've mentioned comes from experience. He has very little at the moment

So you would agree that he is not a good bowler at the moment?

                Because that is my point.

I think he's a very Good Bowler with potential to become a Great one. Best Prospect India has had for a long time. Besides Spinners that is

India's pace attack is about as useful as batting with a stump.

When last have you watched them play?

Their pace attack did considerably better against South Africa than Pakistan did in back to back series

We are obviously not going to agree on this, so lets just wait and see what happens in the World Cup

So you're expecting him to keep wicket whilst bowling 10 overs and batting England out of trouble in every match? He's hit a purple patch lately and hopefully should carry this forward to the WC but mate, he ain't THAT good...

I watched a bit of them in the champs trophy and a bit of the series against west indies, the lot of them suck, lucky they have such class batsmen.

But you're right i will never agree that Sreesanth is good.

while pathan had a bad series in SA the rest did reasonably well.

Agarkar will be the key bowler for india in the west indies

                              Exactly.

Pathan on form is one of the best bowlers in the world and i think him winning young player of the year shows his potential.

Agarkar and Zaheer have really found there form in recent games.

And as SouthAfricaRed said Sreesanth is v good and could be one to watch at the world cup.

but then again i am biast, so only time will tell.

IMO the winners should be from either the Aussies and SA, then the next tier of potential winners is Windies, Sri Lanka, India.

The outsiders are Pakistan and New Zealand.

Pakistan are genuine hot an cold so they could easily beat a top team and then lose to Bangladesh. Curret form suggests the latter.

I will stick to my prediction of another Australia win.
