Anyway, if it dents Hussey's confidence then it's all good. I thought he was superb against England, a really solid performer.
he was rested against new zealand you are right hussey is an excellent player
The future you have, tomorrow, won't be the same future you had, yesterday.

Seems strange to me to be resting players this close to the tournament, you want them to start peaking soon. Anyway, up to the Aussies, I guess the proof of the pudding will be in the eating.

Any thoughts on potential stars of the tournament?

Ponting and Lara are obvious ones.

Bowlers are much more difficult to pinpoint.

Plunkett and Monty for England, and Mohammad Asif of Pakistan could be ones to watch IMO.

If in the unlikely event England do well then we'll need big performances from Freddie and KP. If they play to their abilities they potential players of the tournemant.

From whatt i've seen of NZ, watch out for Taylor & Bond.
And Craig Mcmillan - some comeback.
Remember, we're only adding to the nonsense.

Walking a lonely road one night, Nasruddin saw riders approaching. His imagination ran riot: he saw himself robbed or killed, so he climbed a wall into a graveyard and hid. Puzzled at his behaviour, the riders, who were followers of the Mullah, followed. Finding him cowering behind a grave, they asked "Great Sage, why are you hiding here?". "It's more complicated than you think" he replied, "I'm here because of you - and you're here because of me"

What are the pitches in the WC likely to be like?

Hope they are of Better quality than the Recent ICC Trophy in India.

Would be nice to see some High scores between the Top Nations and some Close Games.

                              Hard and bouncey

I think it'll provide good conditions for batting seeing as bouncers are limited and if it bounces too much you are penalised with a wide. Should be some big scores I reckon
