all over, crikey, pakistan were poor with the bat today. They should really have chased that total down. They had the chance early on when their two big guns were in the middle. Pakistan are going to have to perform a hell of allot better if they are to get anywhere in this tourney.
Take nothing away from the Windies though, they bowled well.
I have a serious love hate relationship with the Pakistan Cricket team.
I just cannot understand them today - very poor show - so slow and then losing cheap wickets. Sums up why we are being written off and rightly so. Someone should tell these boys about the 'cornered tigers' speech by Immy in '92.
I do not mind losing, it is just I hate losing without a fight.

Indeed.
Pakistan have had far too many off-field problems in the lead up to this world cup. I seriously doubt whether they are focussed enough except for a few class players.
If they regain their focus and build up a bit of momentum with their remaining token games in the group, then you never know.
I think that's the good thing about this world cup, anyone in the top 8 could win it.
There's always a shock in the world cup tournaments but I can't see any this time around so the top 8 will qualify easily.
