161 for 4 (36.0 overs) KP has gone bloody rubbish
The future you have, tomorrow, won't be the same future you had, yesterday.

Appalling - a middle order collapse (as usual) against ****ing Canada.

Then goes down to the final game vs sri lanka which wont be easy but we can still beat them.

Overall was a very bad day for indian cricket but we was boosted by seeing the blarney army thrash pakistan.

It's all over for you boys mate, start supporting the West Indies.

Nah, that story was a load of bollocks.

So he should be. He's no leader.

Nowhere in the statements does it say he fell off a pedalo though.
I don't believe that at all and I don't believe anything written in the news of the world. If it turn out to be true then fair enough, I'm just not willing to condem him until we've heard the full story. If that makes me look silly then I can live with that
Having said all that the fact that he's breached team discipline is bad enough, he should be setting an example as vice captain.
I've said it all through the Ashes where I stood on him being capt/vice captain. It's a ridiculous idea, Strauss should have been captain during the Ashes and v/c during this tournament.

As for England's innings, well this match is purely about the result. If we win by 180 runs or 1 run, it makes no difference. After the shock results from yesterday, I'm quite pleased with the way things are going so far, except that we batted first

Like I said in my initial post, I'm sure most of it was sensationalised beyond all belief - i.e "he fell of a pedalo and there was a dramatic sea rescue".

What was fairly clear was that he was part of a piss up. And that's not acceptable. I don't care if he fell off a pedalo - I care that he was getting leathered immediately after a defeat and not long before another big game.

Anyway he's been sacked now so that's the end of that. He needs to buck his ideas up, sharpish.

Our Ashes performance was enough to drive anyone to drink.

Yeah but Flintoff canes the lager win, lose or draw. And that's the problem. If we'd have been winning down under he'd have been supping even more.

Maybe he would. Who knows? One thing is clear to me, Fletcher has lost the respect in the dressing room and has to go.

These 2 have pushed it along well.
Got to look for 275-300 now.

Yep, from the Beeb for anyone who hasn't seen it.

They were bowlers James Anderson, Liam Plunkett and Jon Lewis, batsman Ian Bell and wicket-keeper Paul Nixon who went to a nightclub after the game in St Lucia on Friday.
