Despite me writing SL off, they're looking like the form side.

    Good call by Shaggy

I must confess to having a vested interest, as I drew them in a sweepstake , but I do genuinely think they have as good a chance as anybody else.

England apparently will play Ireland in the Super 8s if they beat Kenya.

Yes, they'll play 6 teams, the only team in the super 8's they won't play is NZ, because they've already played.

Have we got to play everyone before we progress then. What sort of format is that?

All teams in the super 8 play eachother so it's a league format.

The top 4 in the super 8's league qualify for the semis.

It's all in the opening post of the thread

We're there to make up the numbers

Collingwood is whoring himself around as vice captain.

I don't have a huge problem with this, but he's not a top class cricketer IMO.

Pietersen should be v/c for me, he's a winner

I think it should be Collingwood, personally. Pietersen isn't experienced enough IMO.

Isn't Pietersen more experienced than Colly in International cricket?

Only in test match, 1 dayers Colly pisses all over KP.

                              No.

Collingwood has played 20 Tests and 114 ODIs, Pietersen 23 Tests and 44 ODIs.
