Fair play to Bopara, Mahmood and Panesar. They chose England first.

Unlike Nasser, the rumour being England were his third choice after being rejected from India forst then Pakistan, hence his "late" introduction to the England fold.

I think his late introduction to England was due to his alleged cocaine problem.

My mates sister used to go out with a major cocaine provider in London. This was back in 1996 and he claimed then that Nasser, when he was younger, had a bit of a 'problem'. At the time he reckoned that the England set up was aware of this which was why he would never become captain.......he was obviously proved wrong on that front.
