            This world cup has to be the worst of any world cup I have ever witnessed for any sport. The curling world cup is even better than this rubbish.

              Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

                Haha. Do you like cricket? Cos if you don't then it's gonna be pretty **** in your eyes.

                I love cricket, but I do think the World Cup could be far better organised. It's far too long, we all know that. No kind of intensity and fervour can be maintained for seven ****ing weeks, and of course the organisers have royally ****ed up with the ticket prices...leading to these depressingly empty stadiums.

                On a cricket front, there's been disappointingly few thrilling/close games.

                    Agree - poorly organised

                    but come on, there have been some cracking down to the wire matches. - Ireland have been involved in a couple.....plus England v Sri Lanka.

                    Bangladesh as well, who would have thought they would have won the games that they have?

                    The tourney is hotting up and I think we will see some (two) explosive semi final games

                              At least SA know how to put a team to the sword, so much so it took till the 44th over for WI to call the 3rd & final power play, and boy are they paying for it!

                              WI going to need 7 an over from the off just to have a chance!
