They like slower flatter pitches IMO.

Disappointing pitches though. I think we all wanted fast, bouncy wickets and lots of runs. Not gonna happen though.

The best Asian team in the final. We`ll lose to Australia - but SA have a chance to knock them out.

Where are the Indian team now - Probably advertising some washing products

                    WORLD CUP SEMI-FINAL, ST LUCIA:
                    Australia v South Africa
South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first in the second World Cup semi-final against Australia.

The St Lucia wicket is expected to become harder for the teams to bat on in the second half of the match.

Australia, unbeaten in World Cup matches since the middle of the 1999 tournament, remain favourites however.

Both teams named unchanged sides, South Africa resisting the chance to play spinner Robin Peterson. The winners face Sri Lanka in Saturday's final.

                        WORLD CUP SEMI-FINAL, ST LUCIA:
                        Australia v South Africa 21-2
South Africa lost their two leading scorers of the World Cup in the first six overs of the St Lucia World Cup semi-final against Australia.

Skipper Graeme Smith tried to charge Nathan Bracken and drive him on the off-side but was bowled by a ball that seamed away from his outside edge.

Then Jacques Kallis had his off-stump knocked back by a Glenn McGrath yorker as he backed away to play a drive.

                            WORLD CUP SEMI-FINAL, ST LUCIA:
                            Australia v South Africa 27-5
Glenn McGrath broke the record for wickets taken in a single World Cup tournament as Australia made a majestic start to their World Cup semi-final.

McGrath, who now has a record 70 in all World Cups, made it 25 in this tournament alone with three wickets against a woeful South Africa.

The Proteas were in all sorts of trouble on 27-5 in the 10th over.

And McGrath was on a hat-trick after Ashwell Prince and Mark Boucher were dismissed from consecutive balls.

                                WORLD CUP SEMI-FINAL, ST LUCIA:
                                Australia v South Africa 93-7
Australia regained total control of the St Lucia World Cup semi-final when Herschelle Gibbs was caught behind off Justin Kemp for a battling 39.

That wicket left South Africa on 87-6, a terrible position but nonetheless a recovery from the perils of 27-5.

Glenn McGrath had dismissed half the top six, his three wickets taking him to 25 for this tournament, a record haul for a single World Cup.

Justin Kemp (18 not out) and Shaun Pollock were left with much to do.
