What was I saying about bonehead picks? TO's face was a picture.Originally posted by lfc4ever102 yard int return - nice!
How shocking was Bledsoe's TD run earlier though, never seen him move so fast, and he took a good lick too

What, I was right wasn't I? Was surprised to see Westbrook playing too, that made a big difference even though he wasn't 100%Originally posted by spud_gun

I was gonna throw the telly out of the window when he threw that INTOriginally posted by FiddyWhat was I saying about bonehead picks? TO's face was a picture.

A nice drive that almost culminated in tying the score and the muppet throws a INT returned for a 102 yard TD
Bledsoe will never get the BOYS to the SB..I say never.

Well I hear Chris Simms might not get his job back at Tampa Bay.Originally posted by REDSCOUSERI was gonna throw the telly out of the window when he threw that INT

Gradkowski looks good.
I could imagine a new HC and a new QB at Dallas next year. Simms would be a good aquisition.
By the way, I point to exhibits A (Rex Grossman) & B (Philip Rivers) in the argument to have your young quarterbacks sit and watch the game for a while before playing. Grossman gets injured for a couple of years, but keeps studying, keeps watching, has settled things in his head, knows what defenses will give him, then steps out and plays like Brady. Same with Rivers, minus the injury (although I have less confidence in the coaching set-up around Rivers).

There are fatal flaws with the Boys (QB and too much TO), Atlanta (no matter what anyone says, Vick still can't pass well enough to come up big in big situations), Hawks (O-Line isn't the same without Hutchinson, and Walter Jones can't run block - yes your tackles should be able to run block, unless your guard is Steve Hutchinson, then you're ok), and the Eagles (running game - I'll get to that in a second). The Bears are the only team I could see winning it all. But even there I'm naturally suspicious of teams that charge out of the blocks in the regular season (cf Indy the last few years).Originally posted by FiddyI think the fact they're 5th in the league in rushing yards and joint second with 5 rushing TD's kind of disputes that...it's a myth they can't run the ball, Westbrook was on pace for over 1,300 yards before he got injured. I've got a feeling the Superbowl winner will come from the NFC this year - one of the Bears, Hawks, Eagles, Boys or maybe even Atlanta if they keep running all over teams like they have been. But I think Grossman will get injured and that will derail the Bears. Don't really fancy any of the AFC teams, except maybe Baltimore if they can get a passing game going.
As regards the Eagles running game, I must hold my hands up, I wasn't aware of Westbrook's yardage through the first couple of games. His numbers now project to about 1100 yds (running - his all purpose yds will be, as usual, much higher), and his health looks dodgy.
BUT, I do not expect him to keep that up. I can't see him running well between the tackles for hard yards in winter (what really good, championship-winning running games are built on). Westbrook would be one hell of a cog in a multi-faceted back field, but with Philly it's Westbrook or no-one (Buckhalter and Moats won't be able to do a Dillon or Bettis). I do think that they will meet some defenses that are smart enough to confuse the passing game. Jacksonville, Carolina and the Giants could all cause them problems in that regard. What will they go to then?
One thing the Eagles do have in their favour is that they are an NFC team. The postseason is decidely more forgiving over there. I couldn't see them beating Denver, New England or San Diego (Marty-ball or no Marty-ball) in January.

And Travis Henry carved you up for 123 yards on the ground.Originally posted by MattsharkWell I'm shocked, we had a low scoring game 14-13 win.
You may be undefeated, but if I was an Indy fan I'd be a bit worried.
I could see Indy losses @ Denver, @ New England, @ Jacksonville and at home to Cincinatti.
Still undefeated is undefeated.
