On their day, they'd beat anyone else in the league comfortably...and as it is I think they're the most dangerous team in the AFC right now
You're right, they are the most explosiove team in the AFC. On both sides of the ball.

But they were for large swathes of the season last year too. Remember the whooping they put on the Pats in Foxborough?

Marty's done well with Rivers. But he's still Marty and I bet he finds a way to have the Chargers be 1-and-done in the playoffs.

If New York don't get it sorted soon, Dallas will take the division.
That's right. The Giants were awful last night against the Jaguars. The BOYS are picking up form at the right time.
Romo is slowly learning. I will be happy with a divisional play off match. SB maybe a bit too early for Dallas.

The biggest difficulty for Dallas is the same one that has nagged them for a while.

They only come close to dominating the LOS on defense.

That offensive line needs serious upgrading.

Sorry for my ignorance but why are they the scum of the NFL ?
I thought San Francisco were that since the days of Montana & the Dolphins since the days of Marino.

There is no point comparing teams like that. There is no "Man U of the NFL". Dallas are a big market team that were successful in the 90's. That's about as far as the comparison goes.

I beg to differ but as a Redskins fan I might be slightly biased

The whole 'America's Team' bollox and the way the media portray them always reminds me of Sky and MU.

NO-ONE is as bad as the Yankees! Then again I am a Mets fan so bias raises its ugly head.

The Cowpukes look like they are in control of the division. They get to play Philly minus McNabb, the Giants who have a ton of injuries and 4 of their last 6 at the ****hole Texas Stadium.

                      Go Redskins

Thanksgiving tomorrow so 3 NFL games plus a college game. Lots of food, football and drink

                      Happy Thanksgiving to all

I'm a Braves fan and hate them (not just we have lost o many world series' to them). Though no one hates them like the Red Sox do.

And happy Thanksgiving to you too, Mucky.

I was very close to taking the day off on friday and watching 11 1/2 straight hours of NFL tonight. But I've taken the sensible option.

as a pats follower am a bit worried about the dolphins for next year after last nights game. admitedly a pisspoor detroit team but they have good no nonsense qb in harrington, a good running game and an interesting defensive season. game of the week on sunday evening mind, the bears have the chance to show if theyre real contender, or a drab version of the colts; great regular season ****e in playoffs. as for the rest like the look of dallas with mr happy parcells doing a great job. on an aside is it going to be customary to hire bledsoe then ditch him midseason to get a superbowl? still though i like romo dont think he's tom brady.

                                Welcome.

First of all. Nobody is Tom Brady. Mattshark can keep his Peyton. Brady is all there needs to be.

Second, don't worry about the Dolphins until they show they can win when the pressure is on. They had their unbeaten run at the back end of last year when their season was already over and the Pats essentially threw the game against them. And Joey has a long way to go before he shows he's a playoff QB. I reckon Mangini will have the Jets competing sooner than Saban gets things sorted in Florida.

In terms of next year, don't be surprised if Buffalo become the Pats only realy challengers in the division.
                                • Superb secondary
                                • Excellent special teams
                                • Good draft class this year (Donte Whitner and Ko Simpson are going to be special)
                                • JP Losman is growing and learning all the time
                                • Lee Evans and Willis McGahee are 2 of the best skill position players around
                                • Dick Jauron is a good coach

And get pumped up my friend because this sunday is the Patriots' statement game. Thanksgiving is done. It's time for the real teams to step up.
