Now that the Owens sideshow has left town i'm hoping Reid can concentrate the minds of the players

I really, really hope that Ownes / Dallas implode this season. The man is an arse

Yeah, he is a giant tool.

Everybody expects them to get a great season out of Owens, but I think it'll all go belly up by mid season. He's trashed every QB he's ever played with, and that Dallas offensive line is weak enough to give Bledsoe some serious time on his ass. Which, of course, means fewer passes out wide. Terrell will get annoyed quickly I reckon.

In regards to Philly, don't forget that McNabb and Reid brought the Eagles to all those NFC Championship games before Owens came along. They've got a strong core.

The Eagle's playoff chances come down to the health of 2 running backs. Westbrook and Clinton Portis. If Portis doesn't recover in time, the Redskins' whole season changes. Have a feeling the Giants could be Superbowl-bound this year, so in my book Washington, Philadelphia and Dallas are battling it out for a wildcard berth.

Obviously Philly need Westbrook healthy to establish any sort of running game. In fact I'd say the recievers will be fine, it's the health of their running game that will be key.

Anyway, I'm talking crap now. It's been a long day in work and I need to go home.

agree on owens - total tool - was in philly the day he was cut and you could get his nfl jersey for $10! i have a big question mark over the whole philly squad as regards being chokers but i think its them and the skins fighting for the division.

i think seattle will be strong once again as will denver

Yeah, Denver could be very strong. Javon Walker was a good signing.

And Mike Shananhan could get 1000 rushing yds out of the guy who paints the endzone if he wanted to.

Ok so if you're a skins fan and you're not mucky or redscouser, I'm running short on ideas!

I used to follow NHL closely a few years ago, particularly the Buffalo Sabres the year they got to the Stanley Cup Final (1999?) due to a friend supporting them. Shame the way they lost it.

Havent really watched ice hockey since the 2002 winter Olympics unfortunately

it's so good to see Carlton Palmer doing so well in the NFL with Cincinnati.

Yeah, his gangly arms have really helped him with the transition.

for real though if all the young ones at the bengals stop getting arrested and palmer is fit for the season they could be a force to be reckoned with.

Yeah, it seems like a prequiste to playing for Cinci is doing time.

What's the difference between the Bengals and a dollar bill?

You can still get four quarters out of a dollar.

                              Q. What do you call 47 people sitting around a TV watching the NFL playoffs?

                              A. The Cincinnati Bengals

                                That's actually quite good that.

                                If a little unoriginal.
