Oh they'll make the playoffs alright, and they'll probably tear it up in the regular season, but they'll fall off when it counts. I just don't think Peyton has it in him to go beyond the stats and win a "balls on the line" game like Brady does so often.

Why not Manning versus Manning in the superbowl?

If Carson Palmer's knee comes through the first game unscathed I'll be putting money on the Bengals.
        I hate Polanski

          FLMAO.

Seattle, Indy, Denver if they can get Bell and Bell going, Miami and Pittsburgh will be in the mix when all's said and done.

If Brian Westbrook stays healthy and can run the ball well, The Eagles could be very strong. Trading for Donte Stallworth was a smart move. He's gonna be a top receiver this year.

            The Panthers are strong too.

But I have a sneaking suspicion that things could click for the Giants this year and they could make a run to the big game. They're actually strong at every position except maybe with some questions about the O-line.

The Steelers might be in trouble with their running game (Bettis gone, Parker too small to be a bruiser, and Staley not fit) and Cowher's future could unsettle a lot of people.

And I'm just not convinced Bledsoe has it left to be a Super Bowl QB.

By my biased reckoning, it'll be a Patriots - Giants Super Bowl.

The Pats have issues at linebacker and still in the secondary. And despite signing Doug Gabriel, Brady, good as he is, needs a receiver he can rely on. Maroney will help spell Dillon and Brady will spread it around to Garrett Mills and David Thomas and Ben Watson especially, but I think there are bigger issues to overcome at linebacker and Rodney Harrison is coming back off the injury at SS.

Brian Westbrook has never stayed healthy and Donte Stallworth struggled to establish himself in New Orleans despite ample opportunities. Reggie Brown will be McNabb's go to guy.

I agree with regards Bledsoe. I think Seattle-Indy.

I am a big COWBOYS fans as some of you know from KT but to be honest I think it's gonna be a Patriots x Giants super bowl. So I'm with ya Houy mate.
As much as I hate the Giants I think they have a very solid team all around.
From the AFC the Raiders looked good in pre-season so we shall see.
Dallas will make the play offs but lose in the first divisional round.

Lads I have created a league for us just like last season.
League name is Est1892 NFLers. Just type that into leagues and let the fun begin.

Oh I know the Pats have plenty of issues, but I'm a blatant Pats homer and have faith that Rodney will hit as hard and fast as ever, Junior Seau will play like he's at least 5 years younger, and Tully Banta Cain will be the new McGinest.

I also really like Ellis Hobbs at corner.

Also, if Chad Jackson can pick up the offense, he could be enormous for the Pats from the off.

But I'm sorry Socks, your Dolphins are not gonna be in the mix. I'm not a fan of that offensive line at all.

In regards to Indy, Peyton will do what he does best, choke when it's all on the line.

I reckon I might put some money on a Pats Giants Super Bowl. Could stand to win quite a lot if it comes off.

Used to dislike the Redskins when I lived in Liverpool. Now they're my local team so I hope they do well. I've always liked the Broncos.
I'll go for a Patriots v Panthers Super Bowl.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

First super bowl ever for me was the 1990 one when San Fran spanked the Broncos 55-10. I won 300$/US of bets that day from some Fraternity brothers I lived with when I was studying in Texas.

                                OUCH!

I know it's only the first game of the season and all, but it seems from the reports that Culpepper looked awful and the Miami Offensive Line were very poor.

Now, having said that, Miami spanked Denver in last year's opener, and Denver went on to have a very strong season. So we'll see how things pan out.

Well, can't wait for sunday to sit down in front of the TV and watch 6 hours of live NFL.
