Is this a pathology report Al?Originally posted by Red_Al_77 View PostLatest pathology report is suggesting he was not strangled and died of natural causes
I was under the impression the body was flown back to South africa last week. Seem strange that they've come out with a new pathology report and what triggered the new pathology report? It's pretty unusual to do more than 2 isn't it?
What's the source?Originally posted by Gordon Brown

Was a UK pathologist. Story was in the Evening Standard. I have no idea when or where it was done and it is indeed strange to do more than two. It is possible he is basing it on a previous report and it is his opinion. I will try and find it on the net.

A top British pathologist has concluded that Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer was not strangled, a disclosure which has further strengthened the theory that the Pakistan cricket coach died of natural causes during the World Cup.
With the police yet to make a breakthrough in the sensational case, a Jamaican lawmaker has urged the police to explain the basis of their belief that Woolmer had been murdered and prove it beyond doubt to stop what has become a "global embarrassment" for the Caribbean nation.
A report in leading British daily 'The Times' claimed that top British home office pathologist Dr Nat Carey has examined Woolmer's post-mortem report, photographs and other materials after which he arrived at the conclusion that the burly Englishman was not strangled, as claimed by Jamaican police.
According to Dr Carey, the death was not from asphyxiation due to strangulation.
The original post-mortem claimed Woolmer's broken neck bone strengthened the strangulation case but it was later pointed out that it could well have been a result of Woolmer's fall.
Jamaican newspaper gleaner claimed the Scotland Yard sleuths, who assisted Jamaican police in the probe, also believed that Woolmer died of natural cause.
"The Scotland Yard report specifically said Woolmer died of heart failure, contradicting earlier reports by the investigative arm of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) and local pathologist Dr Ere Seshiah, who had conducted a post-mortem on Woolmer's body," it said.
Jamaica`s Deputy Commissioner Mark Shields has all along maintained that Woolmer had been subdued and then strangled to death in a Kingston Hotel on March 18. But the Jamaican police have made little progress in the case, allowing conspiracy theorists a free run.
The 'Times' report said Shields was in London last week talking to Scotland Yard and scientists who were asked to look at samples from the coach`s body.
The police were awaiting the results of a toxicology report after traces of a herbicide were found in Woolmer`s body. The herbicide is used on cricket pitches to keep down weeds and may have been imbibed by Woolmer accidentally, the report said.
The toxicology report would show whether there were suspiciously high levels of the herbicide in his body or whether the levels built up and then fatally reacted, it said.
With no real breakthrough so far, lawmaker Derrick Smith of the Jamaica Labour Party, said the confusion raised by the conflicting accounts jeopardised the reputation of the country's police.
"Announcements emerging from police and medical authorities in both Britain and Pakistan indicate that Woolmer's death was from natural causes and not murder as suggested by the Jamaica Police authorities. The matter has become a global embarrassment for us", he told reporters.
Smith said the Jamaican Security Ministry must "state conclusively what are the circumstances which have convinced our police that his death was due to foul play."
Incidentally, two Pakistani sleuths, who observed the entire investigation in Jamaica, also contested Woolmer`s murder theory.

Thanks,I've read the body was cremated last month so I assume it's not an official pathologists report.Originally posted by Red_Al_77 View PostWas a UK pathologist. Story was in the Evening Standard. Interesting, thanks, but I think I'll go with the conclusion of the two actual pathologists reports for now.Originally posted by Red_Al_77 View PostA top British pathologist has concluded that Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer was not strangled, a disclosure which has further strengthened the theory that the Pakistan cricket coach died of natural causes during the World Cup.

I don't see how you can come to such conclusions on the basis of looking at photos of the original report.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

I dont know what to believe anymore. What about the poison that was found in his samples?
Smells like a Huge Cover up
His body was cremated a while ago so this report could only be based on examining the pictures and samples?"For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son"

Coach Woolmer 'was not murdered'

Scotland Yard detectives have told Jamaican police that the former Pakistan cricket coach, Bob Woolmer, was not murdered, the BBC understands.
The apparent verdict follows work by a UK Home Office pathologist, who flew to Jamaica to probe Mr Woolmer's death.
A UK newspaper has reported that Jamaican police are to announce that Mr Woolmer died of natural causes.
Mr Woolmer was found dead in his hotel in Jamaica on 18 March after Pakistan's first-round exit from the World Cup.
Days later Mark Shields, Jamaica's deputy police commissioner, announced at a news conference that the 58-year-old former England Test cricketer had been murdered.
'Embarrassment'
According to a report in the Daily Mail newspaper, police in Kingston now believe Mr Woolmer died of natural causes, brought on by chronic ill-health and possibly diabetes.
Former Pakistan player Asif Iqbal has criticised the Jamaican police investigation.
"When they said it was suspicious, after that it should have been dealt with in a normal way instead of being a Hollywood, or Bollywood kind of investigation," he told the BBC on Saturday.
"Every day there were different stories in the newspaper, every day there was a different way of his being murdered. I think they made a mess of it to be very honest."
There has been no confirmation of the report, with BBC sports editor Mihir Bose saying Mr Woolmer's widow has heard nothing about her husband dying of natural causes.
In May, several other reports suggested Mr Woolmer was not murdered, often citing sources close to the investigation.
One member of Jamaica's Labour Party said the case had become a "global embarrassment" for the country's police force.

Why would scotland yard detectives want to cover up a murder they have nothing to do with?Originally posted by SouthAfricaRed View PostCant make them the scapegoats. What about the poison that was discovered in The tissue samples taken from Woolmer?
There is a lot of covering up here
The investigation was farcical from the start. I feel sorry for Woolmer's family who have had to put up with all the media bull **** regarding his death stemming from the inadequacies of the Jamaican police investigation.

OK, they weren't involved. At least that's what I reckon..
