Think Dott needs this one, don't see him turning it around from 16-13.
Was loud enough to scare **** out of a sleeping man in the background cant believe they never shown it again.

Aye, think Robertson will win this tbh.

Looks like the Mayor of Sheffield is in the audience.

At least I'm hoping he's the mayor. He's fully suited and booted in mayoral attire.

What time do we reckon this will finish? 1am? 2am?

I think half one, then i'm watching the black ball final frame thing after it as well

I'm staying up to watch it.

Why do they always have it on so late? It baffles me. They started the first session at 3 o'clock, why not have it a few hours earlier?

The 2nd session then started at 8, why not have it at like 6? it's madness.

The afternoon session used to start at 2pm, no idea why they put it back. Demented.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yep it is indeed. You'd have to question the thinking behind it.

If Dott were somehow to claw his way back to level it at 16-16, it could go on to 2am at the earliest

                Possibly 3 or 4

Robertson should make it 17-13 here.

Robertson looks a cert to win it now.

Shame though, i'd prefer Dott to win it. Seems like a nice fella.

Aye, from the start i wanted Dott or Selby to win.

17-13 now. Players must be getting on the red bull in-between frames.

Fair play Robertson, deserved that. His is a good story too.

Yeah he was by far the better player throughout the final.

Dott looked completely gutted at the end.

He spilt a bit of ink on the table and completely dead pan pointed at it "That's my ink. Don't touch that."

I was a wee nipper with low standards so had him down as a comical genius as well as a snooker genius

He really did make the effort with the young fans but, even when he was busy at his peak. Fantastic guy in every way and it made me very sad to see his decline and his refusal to accept it.

He's way better than being remembered as a 3rd rate player.

We don't get snooker over here so I don't get to watch it, one of the things I miss. Nothing like it on a lazy Sunday afternoon when hungover.
It's quite a relaxing thing to watch, but I haven't seen anything of this year's tournament.

What I don't get is how a player can 'decline'. I mean, obviously they do but it's strange because there aren't really any physical attributes required to play the game? On the contrary you'd think that players' understanding of the mental side of the game would only improve over time.

There was a feature on that last during one of the intervals. Parrott did it. Mainly about the slow decline of our eyesight as we get older.

Ah ok, well that kind of makes sense

Weird though that it seems to start affecting players in their mid/late 30's. Hendry is what, 41, and he's been off the boil for several years now.

I saw that too, the eyes and the desire are definite factors, but after it finished Steve Davis summed it up perfectly, the main reason, is that the players are just getting better. John Parrot was never, at any point in the past, as good as most of these guys, that's the main reason why he's struggled.
