    Snooker Championships

Is anyone else been following the Snooker? Ronnie has looked in stunning form in his 1st round match with Ding.
Is anyone going to the Crucible this year? I havn't been for 3 years now but managed to get some tickets for this year. Its a really good day out!

I'm following it and have backed Hendry, mainly because he was such good value.

Naturally, if O'Sullivan maintains his focus then he'll win it again as no-one can touch him at his best.

Why is this in this forum? Snooker's not a sport, it's a game.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Watched a bit yesterday - Mark Allen playing Ken Doherty and later that young kid Joe Turmp, only 17, against Murphy

          JUDD TRUMP!

What a quality name. How did that end up? Trump was 6-5 up last time I saw it.

Judd is it? ffs! You'd think with an awful surname like Trump they'd give him a decent first name. I bet he took up snooker at age 10 to escape the school bullies.

The only snooker player I ever loved to watch was Paul Hunter

                      Paul, RIP!
