    De La Hoya vs Mayweather

    This is my last day to post about the fight as tomorrow I'm over to Scouseland and then will be flying from London to the States on Wednesday to catch the fight on Saturday.



    Just curious as to who thinks what is going to happen in the fight.

    My heart has being saying that Oscar will win it, that he is too strong, still has speed, and he is up for it.

    My head has said Mayweather is too young, too slick, and too skilled.



    Now both are saying Mayweather. I think he may stop Oscar, or force the ref to stop the fight. I think he will be cold blooded and spiteful in the ring on the night.

    I think Mayweather will win the fight.
    But like yourself, my heart wants De La Hoya to win this one, mainly because of Floyd's attitude, cocky little ****er if ever there was one.

      I voted for Floyd.

      Should be a great fight.

      Couple of cracking article in the Sunday Herald [scottish paper] about the fight. Apparently it's on course to be the highest grossing fight in history!

          im gonna go for mayweather,just,id be surprised if either dominated this and/or finished the fight pretty early.
          i have a feeling this one will go all the way,or at least to about the 9th,10th or 11th round.
          but i just think mayweather will edge it.

            Am no boxing expert but the greatest boxer i've seen is Oscar De La Hoya. He's a legend and will win.

                          Im going for Oscar just for pure heart and guts probably his swansong!!

                          Jaco you lucky T**T this has got the making of one of the greatest fights ever not to mention box office money!!

                            Mayweather will be too quick and too strong. I wouldn't be surprised if Golden Boy was stopped between round 8 and round 11.

                              I'd love to see Oscar win this, but cant help feeling that this will prove one fight too many for him

                              Mayweather is an arrogant prick, but he's good and I fear will outclass Oscar. Pity this fight couldnt take place when both fighters were at their peak
