Most boxers come back for the money - but at least with Holyfield he's back for the love of the sport. Having said that - I do think that he should have stayed retired.

Yeah, would agree that it is not an urge driven by financial motives for Holyfield.
One thing that is in his favour, is the current pedigree of the four main titleholders, depending on which belt he targets, he could have a decent chance of giving a good account of himself, or even causing an upset.
It is a sad reflection on the division, when I can say something like that about what is a washed up fighter who should be enjoying his retirement. But the lack of activity is a killer for fighters, it is hard to get away from the training and the buzz of being the best, every old fighter thinks they have one more great fight left in them.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Toney lost on points last night to Peters. Was no classic, but Toney showed heart to stay in the fight after Peters had him in trouble early doors.
Looks as though Peters will get a shot at the WBC title now, which means no matter what the outcome of that fight is, we still have a low grade no mark left holding the belt.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Ike was a loss, mad *******, but would have given us some entertainment. The ring needs heavy handed nutjobs like him.
Would have loved to have seen Toney as champ, big cigar in hand and talking smack from the ring. Still, I'm sure we will see him in the ring again, given how much crap there is in the division.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
