Ricky Hatton v Jose Luis Castillo

Sorry Jaco/Kurtangle - thought I'd nip in before yer!

The fights on 23rd June at the Thomas and Mack Centre.

FWIW I believe Setanta have the rights to this fight instead of SKY, although you get a months subscription to Setanta along with the ppv fight.

I think it will be a close fight but Hatton to force a late stoppage from working the body. However, what are the chances of Hatton carrying on in Boxing if he loses? How close is he to calling it a day?

I can't believe Wayne Rooney will be carrying Hatton's belt into the ring. :whatever:

Why the **** would Hatton, City through-and-through, want that **** leading him out?

Anyway, should be a great fight. Amazingly, Hatton looks in terrific shape. He was on the local news earlier, reckoning he's had less weight to lose than usual - although he looked a right fat kunt when he was on Jonathan Ross a few weeks ago.

      Hatton on points for me.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Hatton should have too much for Castillo. Stoppage win for Hatton about the 7th or 8th round.

            You've been doing some research haven't you?:crackoff

You stick to cheering on Wales' hero 'Chicken' Joe Calzaghe. Actually - that sounds like something you'd order in an italian restaurant !

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Taylor to beat Calzaghe on points. Might as well keep my prediction out there.

Of course it depends on the feathered one actually getting into the ring with Taylor.

Ooh yes please. A nice yellow sauce would top this off nicely.

Or rather Joe to SAY he hurt his hand during his next fight.

I read somewhere that Hatton said that he has another 5 or 6 fights left in him

2 more fights Ricky boy and then retire while you still have some faculties left and with luck still a world champ.

I take Hatton to win this easy. Castillo has been in far too many battles.

I agree Spud - a couple more fights then that's it.

Really? Hatton to retire so soon, I think he has alot left in him and is in no danger at the moment of having long term damage, I think he could fight at Light Welter for a while, but I wouldn't advise him to go above that wieght.
