Hatton has talked of retirement for a few years now but before every fight he says the same "3 more fights for me and then I'll retire". The thing is though it's always 3 fights. If he'd stuck to his guns it would have been Urango, Castillo and then one other but I read an interview last week where he said he felt he had at least 3 years left in him and thought that he could fight six more times so who knows what he'll do.
As for the fight. I think Hatton will win what should be an all out toe to toe fight possibly by stoppage from round 8 onwards but he has to stay away from Castillo's left hook. That's the punch he has to look out for.
The Americans for one reason or another seem to have been slightly critical of Hatton recently so he has to put on a good show in his next fight. If he puts on a good show winning in the process I think he has a chance at luring one of the bigger names into the ring. HBO said when they signed Hatton that they wanted to put him in with Mayweather but if that doesn't happen there's plenty of other top level fighters out there.
As for retiring if he loses? I doubt it. If he loses he'll probably just accept to fight Witter. That's if Witter beats Vivian Harris this summer.
