Hatton has talked of retirement for a few years now but before every fight he says the same "3 more fights for me and then I'll retire". The thing is though it's always 3 fights. If he'd stuck to his guns it would have been Urango, Castillo and then one other but I read an interview last week where he said he felt he had at least 3 years left in him and thought that he could fight six more times so who knows what he'll do.

As for the fight. I think Hatton will win what should be an all out toe to toe fight possibly by stoppage from round 8 onwards but he has to stay away from Castillo's left hook. That's the punch he has to look out for.

The Americans for one reason or another seem to have been slightly critical of Hatton recently so he has to put on a good show in his next fight. If he puts on a good show winning in the process I think he has a chance at luring one of the bigger names into the ring. HBO said when they signed Hatton that they wanted to put him in with Mayweather but if that doesn't happen there's plenty of other top level fighters out there.

As for retiring if he loses? I doubt it. If he loses he'll probably just accept to fight Witter. That's if Witter beats Vivian Harris this summer.

Why the **** would Hatton, City through-and-through, want that **** leading him out?
Apparently they're big mates...he's just copying Mayweather & 50 really tho isn't he

Word is Wayne might even rap his way to the ring too

I think the Americans may be critical of his power, they may look at him as a points boxer based on what they have seen of him over there.
I think its about time Ricky got a big performance under his belt for the American fans, I know he has it in him, but I do worry about him balooning between fights and how much it takes out of him.
I still think Hatton will win though, late stoppage a possibility.

'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

hatton will win in what can only be a slug fest, around the 6th or 7th they will both tire but castillo more so and then hatton will finish it. Ref will stop it in the 8th for me.
Cant see hatton having many fights left in him, castillo, a big super fight then 1 other and that will be two years down the road and that will be it i reckon.

I see Hatton is taking over 8,000 fans over to Vegas for this showdown.

God I'm so envious of them all! I'd love to go and watch this.

Jaco, you going to this one mate?

Nah, this one looks to be a tv job for me. Looking forward to this fight, but not excited by it. I think Hatton will stop him, and look top notch in doing so, but am fairly neutral in terms of bias on this one.

I have a feeling the fight tomorow night between Cotto and Judah will be a bit better than the Hatton V Castillo fight. Both Hatton and Castillo won laboring wins in their last fights, sadly I am not expecting fireworks in this one.

Yeah I think the Cotto fight will be a better watch than the Hatton fight as well. Like I said to Howard, I am not excited by the Hatton fight, just looking forward to it, despite the fact there will be two very good boxers in the ring.

Tomorrow night's fight will be more of a crowd pleaser methinks. I think both fighters need a good win, and will fight as such. Hehe that is probably the kiss of death, may well turn into a clutchfest after me saying it will be a good 'un.

I doubt cotto wil be having any of that clutching crap, unless he is really troubled by Judah, I think Cotto should prove too strong for Judah

Hopfully Ricky will deliver in front of the Americans.

Think i'm going to subscribe to Setanta for this fight. It'll be interesting to see what they do with the coverage.
