    Bring on Cotto!
When they were showing rounds 3 & 4 on replay you could see Hatton trying to get that shot in. I never really noticed as the fight was progressing but on the replay you could see he was setting it up.

It was an unbelievable punch and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we found out through the press that it broke Castillo's rib.

Quality fight even if it was a bit scrappy.

Hatton was class last night. He is such a devastating body puncher.

indeed it would be, but only if Mayweather pulls his finger out and decides to fight Ricky now in his prime.

I dont think there is a better body puncher out there at the moment.

Yeah you're right I saw the replay, Hatton actually caught with a few good body shots in that roud before the killer blow. I liked Hatton's head and feet movement in that fight, the best I've ever seen from him but I jus wish he's learn to counter punch and jab better to make him a more complete fighter.

                Here's what Castillo said:

Castillo appeared more embarrassed than hurt by the knockout.

"It was a perfect shot," the former two-time lightweight champion said. "He got me with a perfect shot, right to the ribs. I cquouldn't breathe. I couldn't get up. It was a perfect shot, that's all I can say."

Never saw the fight - I was fast asleep.

So what was Setanta's coverage like? Compared to SKY.
                    Who was the commentator?
Who did they have in the studio etc.

                    Sorry for all the questions.

Paul "Alan Partridge" Dempsey presented it, with McGuigan, Colin Hart and Frank Maloney in the studio.

They had three commentators - John Rawling, the hapless Duke McKenzie and Steve Bunce.

It was like a mix of Sky's and ITV's pundits.

The coverage was quite refreshing really. The pundits heartily disagreed on a few things and the commentators were even saying words like 'arse' and 'bollocks'!

Makes a change from Sky's asinine coverage.

Thought Hatton was very good last night against a very dangerous opponent, even if he is on the slide.
The coverage was very "Sky" for me, was ok, no more no less.
Mayweather would be a great fight, Cotto would be my preferred fight though as I think Hatton has the style to beat him comfortably.
Hell of a body punch wasnt it? ouch!

One thing that really pisses me off though is the ****ing press.....they have slagged off hatton for about a year now saying hes past it, should quit and all that **** but guess what....last night he was a superstar again, best pound for pound fighter, best british fighter ever...ffs....I hate the press.

Hatton showed what level is is at again last night. Nobody who follows boxing pays much heed to the general press and most of the nobs that want to push their own name on tv.

Was a sweet shot that Hatton won the fight with, would have been over earlier if he had gotten the opening that he was trying for from the 2nd round.

Will be great for Hatton's US profile though, as he is not so highly rated on that side of the pond. For me, that is three very good wins in a row for him.

I think Cotto may be next. I would doubt if he and Mayweather will meet, and I still think that Mayweather would beat him in a comfortable fashion on points.

I think that Mayweather and De La Hoya may go again early next year.

Bazza, did you watch the Dunne fight on RTE beforehand last night? I think Dunne is going to get hammered if he fights a world class fighter in his weight class, he showed far too many weaknesses last night, despite being in with a fighter who, although he showed buckets of heart, is quite a limited boxer. I think Dunne will be a top level European fighter, or a mid level fighter at World level.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
