Hopefully Agassi gets to finish up with a strong run.

Unlikely given that Agassi will play Nadal in the 3rd Round...

I wouldn't mind another Federer vs Agassi Final though...

Definitely unlikely, but I'd love it to happen.

Have been looking to have a few bets on the US Open but haven't seen anything worth a bet so far.

                Any suggestions?

Rafael Nadal is getting 4s in some places. That's not bad considering him and Federer are on opposite sides in the draw.

Great, it will be good to see the pair of them knocked out early. Especially Henman.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                      * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Agassi had cortisone shot after Pavel match

                          August 30, 2006

NEW YORK (AP) -- Andre Agassi's first-round victory at the U.S. Open was more painful than anyone realized.

Bothered by a bad back most of this season, Agassi said he could barely stand an hour after his match ended past midnight early Tuesday, and went to the hospital for a cortisone injection after waking up.

"The inflammation was pretty bad, and I just don't want to go off the court limping," Agassi told USA Network on Wednesday. "It's not what I want to do."

The 36-year-old Agassi, who will retire after the U.S. Open, was out at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Wednesday for some practice. He plays his second-round match against eighth-seeded Marcos Baghdatis on Thursday night.

"He's going to leave it out there. I've never had a cortisone shot, but from what I've heard, you feel like you can run through walls," Andy Roddick said. "He's been playing through that pain for a couple of years now, so I think he's used to it."

                          ****************************

The guy is an absolute legend...

                              He`s just won a marathon 5 setter with Marcos Baghdatis [6-4 6-4 3-6 5-7 7-5]
He needed a cortisone injection for his recurrent back problem after his 1st round match
So he`ll need to recover before Round 3
I think if he gets through his next match I think he`ll be due to play Roddick in Round 4
' He has football in his blood ' said a scout who was trying sell a player to Liverpool. ' You may be right ' Shanks said, ' but it hasn't reached his legs yet '
