What time's Sharapova v Venus? Might watch that if it's on when I get in.
I think Roddick is on Centre Court now and Sharapova v Williams to follow that. Providing there is no further rain I should just make it home in time to see the luscious long legs of lovely Maria
Just watched the re-run of Federer vs Sampras. That was a fantastic match, the 2 greatest grass court players ever going at it full pelt. A 5 set thriller and Federer beat the 7 times champion.
I was in Vegas at the time and I can remember how shocked everyone was when the result came in.
Anyone else heard the rumour, put about on BBC by McEnroe, that Sampras might enter next year's Wimbledon?

I could hardly believe it myself but he came out with it on BBC. I thought it would be ridiculed straight away but then they had an in depth discussion about whether he could be competitive and how the game and conditions have changed.
McEnroe said Sampras was taking it seriously, something about challenging Federer's drive for 6 straight titles.

But realistically seen as Sampras has been out the game so long how does he expect to be able to challenge the likes of Federer.
Its just damn stupid idea, why ruin a great career by coming out of retirement and getting hammered.

He wouldn't be able to challenge Federer but he would have a chance against the other players IMO.
Sampras has a big advantage and that's that the players isn't used to play against serve and volley players. Björkman is a good example of that. He isn't any better now than a few years ago but his playing style makes him a difficult player to play against.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
