I think the best team won...you're obliged to say that in rugby...but this was an exceptionally close game and I don't believe the referee saw enough to qualify to be honoured with another match at this level (how many SA obstructions and scrum collapses were overlooked?).

The try? Maybe, maybe not. From what I saw I'd have given it, but I'm...not Australian.

A very tense game with both teams defending really well.
Both teams played to their strenghts and gave it all.

Well done Bokke, glad that we have lifted the trophy again.
I wish i was in Joburg for the night, coz i still remember those wild celebrations back in 95.

Sadly though I think it's all downhill for SA rugby from now, with quota system of a minimum number of 'disadvantaged' players in future starting line ups.

PS - As for the try - I think they made the right call. It may have been the slightest of boot leater that touched the line, but it did.....and in rugby the line is out.

Well done SA but I think England's performance was very good. They tried to throw it about and were the only team to 'score' a try. Tait had an excellent game. Indiscipline and a truly magnificent SA line out was the difference between the sides.

Perfectly good try. I've seen a bazillion replays over the last few years and only time I was surprised was when Ireland were denied a try, think it was against France. Weird decision, would have made a great finale.

However, SA were awesome. Bossed us all over the pitch and deserved to win. Great final, and proud of En-ger-land.
