Does anyone think that the RWC is bollox when there are scores like NZ & Aus had in their 1st games ?? I know there are not many nations who actually play to any level of consistency but why stretch it to 20 nations .. the group stages are a bit of a joke just like the Cricket WC this yr!

The problem with the cricket World cup was it seemed to go on forever. The rugby world cup is a sensible length IMO.

You need to allow the 'lesser' nations to compete at the highest level to get both improvement at the top level and enthusiasm as grass roots level if you ask me. For example the game with England and the US was competetive and the Japan vs Fiji games was a lot of fun to watch.

Recovery time has to be taken into account for Rugby players you cant expect them to play every couple of days.

Actually TBH England making SA look Good. England forwards are actually competing very well and IMO winning the set pieces. The England Backs letting the Forwards down
