I have to agree with silverfox. I think this side are collecively the poorest we've had for as long as I can remember, however they showed real heart and passion today and when everyone is pulling in the same direction, upsets can happen and they can continue to happen. And when you have special players such as Wilkinson and Robinson you're always in with a shout.

Did you watch the South Africa match last month Fredo what passion and pride did they have getting dicked 36:0????
Argentina has the most passion ive seen in this World Cup pure passion and pride
England were fired up for this game today cause it was Austraila and all the comments fired at them this week so fair play to them. When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........Comment

for the sake of world rugby, New Zealand need to beat France tonight, because England could on their day beat France, and that would leave them in the final, and we all know anything can happen there.
i think that outcome would be force me to jump off a bridgeComment

I think England sacrificed the South Africa game. It wasn't a knock out game and even if they'd gone for it all guns blazing, they probably would still have lost. They would have risked injury and exhaustion for what?
They went into the match without Wilkinson and lost Robinson to injury.
It was pointless trying to win that game, the South Africans were playing well and were far too strong.
I take the point, their was no heart or passion but they probably went into the game lacking focus and expecting to lose.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

You know it'll all be forgotten about in 6 months time and won't be brought up for another 3 years

no, seriously though fella, at least 4 years ago you looked like scoring a try.
your backs are some of the worst out of all the quarter finalists.
and your pack isn't even as good as it used to be.
i'm hoping New Zealand pick their game up.Comment
