if your sweeping generalisation is of me being a sheep shagger, and Silverfox being a pikey Gyppo, please say your one of the pricks that wears chinos, a blazer and boat shoesOriginally posted by FatTony View PostNot bad, are the bristles made from the tail of one of those horses that walks up and down your streets?

The excitement in those games was whether the favourites were going to bottle it or not.Originally posted by Rocket View Postagree about the NZ 120 point remark
but for a neutral, that game wasn't exciting
Scotland Argentina
France New Zealand
South Africa Fuji
Wales Fiji
France Argentina
they were exciting
Basically, close games are exciting, where one mistake makes the difference and the pressure starts to take effect.
Wide open free scoring games which are over by half time have no excitement for me no matter how fancy the running and the moves are.
I'm not a huge rugby fan and have a very basic grasp of the rules and finer points of the game so in terms of bringing people to the game I am an example of this.
Sometimes I see a game over by half time and switch off. The South Africa England game was a perfect example. Dull as dishwater.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

dull for you yes, maybe even dull for a neutral.Originally posted by Red Chilli View PostSometimes I see a game over by half time and switch off. The South Africa England game was a perfect example. Dull as dishwater.
but for every other England hating supporter, watching them getting dicked 36-0 was amazing

Would it bring people to the game? If they saw a semi or even a final as one sided as that?Originally posted by Rocket View Postdull for you yes, maybe even dull for a neutral.

The only people it would bring to the game would be supporters of the country which won. If you don't have a competitive tournament, it's not very exciting.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

i've already agreed with you about the close games being better than one sided.Originally posted by Red Chilli View PostWould it bring people to the game? If they saw a semi or even a final as one sided as that?

Lidl???? I think we only have an M&S and Waitrose in our little hamlet. They do spiffing roast duck with all the trimmings and their wine is simply delightful. I purchased so much there yesterday, the back of the Aston was positively about to burst.Originally posted by thesilverfoxlfc View PostNo we get them in Lidl these day's Ze German stuff is great, the horses are saved for going to Lidl every friday we set off at 9 in the morn into town and go mad they had a great offer on a Portable Satellite dish for the caravan last week.
