See I don't agree with that, I just think we have the big game mentality. Obviously there is no bigger game than the final but I seriously don't expect us to compete in terms of score.
At the end of the day, it's been a good tournament and it's shut those idiots up who said there were too many minnows at this world cup.
You just said you were the best team in the 6 Nations??
You are only playing down your chances now just incase you get beat in the final....but what you are really thinking is that you'll beat whoever
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........
the same people that are still highly considering reducing it to 16 teams for 2011
That really would be a retrograde step. The smaller teams made the group stages so much more interesting and nearly all genuinely competed and those that didn't will have improved due to the experience and exposure their better players got.

I would have given it be honest. Loads of trys look dubious when you slow them down - IMO it mostly shows the frame limit of the cameras rather than any genuine extra information.

Did I? I was mocking your statement that Ireland were the best in the 6 nations. I've never thought England were, well not for a goo few years anyway.

I'm trying to not let myself get carried away by 2 narrow victories. What are the chances to turn around a 36 point deficit? Slim at best. We've a chance but a slim one.

Thats about right if you ask me - we have to keep the game tight in the first half to stand any chance. If we are still close after 60mins we will always have a chance with Wilkinson's ability to kick under pressure but we could never chase even 10 pts IMO.
