To be honest I think in terms of open play he makes relatively little difference to the team now. He is important for the teams confidence more than anything he actually does, although his solid tackling is important. Really what we need is for him to kick penalties. He is probably the most mentally strong player at the RWC and handles pressure so well - which has been a huge factor for us.

I don't think England are a one man team though. They've come through several matches in this WC with Wilkinson off form.

Betson and Chabal were supposed to be targetting him last night. But in the last few minutes I saw Johnny square up to a tackle on Chabal.
If SA want to take their eye off the game and target one player that's fine by me
