I think Scotty's are just the "in" putter cause Tiger and Els use them

Total nightmare round and its the third in a row like that
        The dreaded slice.

My advice would be on your back swing make sure your transferring your weight to your right side it sets up a good coil and gives your room to hit the ****er. A lot of the time people slice because they haven't given themselves a good arc on the back swing which forces them to cut across the ball.

case in point. I have a nice set of Mizuno MP60 irons....beautiful looking clubs, and they hit the ball sweetly too. When i stand over the top they look just like blades However when i play with my old mans Ping i3's i cannot hit the ball...i hit nearly every shot fat. Im a pretty pure striker of the ball, and i just cannot get to grips with those chunky looking irons.

But if it works for you...go for it

          they're still butt ugly though

That's because your staying behind the ball on impact and your weight is on your right side and not transferring to your left.

I know what you mean though I used to be like you however if Mr Callaway or Mr Ping make ugly clubs but they are easier to hit I know which ones I would use.

That is indeed a decent price! I think it's possible to get cheaper on Ebay but barely.
I'm in Ireland by the way so it doesn't help with postage. My wife is English so maybe I can save a few quid getting one sent to her parents and collect it next time we're over. But that'll be after the main golf season is over.
I'm really struggling off the tee at the moment with the Wilson driver I got with the set because the shaft is too flexy. With my clubhead speed I'm just whipping the ball and getting unwanted side-spin.
I hit a few shots with the R7 superquad and got them out to 300yards (about 30yards further than normal) landing them all on the left half of the fairway. T'was only after I'd hit them I was informed the driver was set to easy draw. Now I've the wedding (main reason for putting a driver hunt off) over with I'm hoping I can get a few quid together on the QT to get me one of these babies to put me John Daly "Wild Thing" headcover on!

My driving was actually a bit better today, by the time i got to the last 3 holes I was getting the hang of coming in to the ball a bit shallower and was booming it nice and straight.

However I was playing the local course in Backworth, next to my parents house, and its only a nine hole. When we go to the turn the ladies were about to tee of for a re-arranged competition, the first group had just gone, and they wouldn't let me and my mate play through despite the fact we were half way through our round and they were teeing off half an hour early. The swarmy cows seemed really pleased with themselves when they told us to wait for another 8 groups.

****ing women golfers! What a pack of *****! People should learn that poor etiqiute isn't limited to throwing your putter in a lake and swearing.

Bettinardi's are not Mizuno's though. They just have a link up. Just like Scotty Cameron's arn't actually Titleist clubs.

How can you hate Mizuno's? They are superb clubs..... so soft and you can work the ball beautifully with them. They also look fantastic.

Thats a nice putter...but they are overated..the prices Scotty's go for are outrageous!!

I hate women golfers. Slow as ****, and they seem to be the worst when it comes to telling you you're breaking rules.....when they turn a blind eye to themselves breaking rules.

I had some old bat tell me off for pulling my buggy over the tee block....because the path was full of water and muddy as hell. She comes over after i tee off..."excuse me", she says " I can't help but notice that you just pulled your buggy onto the tee blocks. Please use the paths, and if i see you doing it again i will report you." I pretty much told her to bugger off, and that if they actually pumped some water of the path it mght not be so muddy........so my mate tee's off giggling cause he carries his bag. As we are walking up the fairway i look back to see them teeing off.......they all had their buggies up on the tee blocks

so we got to the next tee, and i walked over to them while she is putting. "AHEM!!" i say " I couldn't help but notice that you ladies had your buggies up on the tee block!"...."oh, but the path was muddy and boggy" they all say ......i said " A likely story....in future stay of the golf course, and get back in the kitchen.....you clearly have no idea"

incredibly sexist i know...but it had to be said.

I play out of Ballina in Mayo. Played 18holes in torrential rain in a classic today where we put in score of 101 on flooded greens before it was decided to call everyone in and call the competition off. A decision that should have been made 3.5hrs earlier....

Managed to get everything dry and win the big Sunday comp with 42 points.
The place was just so wet only us bigger hitters with some carry were gonna put a score in. Imagine the damage I could have inflicted with the TaylorMade R7 Superquad driver in me bag!
I'm glad Tigger Woods found my win some inspiration

First time I've won a Sunday club competition. I've won a few others before but smaller Open Day and Society events
