But to be fair the only real Boos of the night were for Hammil when he came out, and then when thay announced Bisping won.

Ohh and its sad that the UFC had to have bisping win because he was in the UK. He looked very lightweight last night and i dont think he expected the vast improvement in Hammil

naive really on Bisping's part then, Hammill has walked through his opponents so far. Fancied him to win before the fight.

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

      Just watched UFC 75.

Very surprised with the CRO-COP fight. He got his ass handed to him on a plate once again. Does anyone really want to argue with me that Fedor is far and away the better fighter after the last two Cro Cop Fights

Bisping stole his fight. He should be embarrassed about that decision.

Very, very impressed with Jackson. His ground game against Henderson was excellent. He's shown he's alot more than a swinging knockout merchant.

      Pretty decent event overall.

The JAckson Henderson fight made the even for me, the first fight was decent too, although it was quick.
Bisping went down a peg or two in my estimation last night, he was acting like he deserved the win, I seen him having a go at his trainer too shouting at him between rounds.

Have to say - disappointing event all told for me with the undercard providing more entertainment than the main fights

          * Jess Laudin (French lad living in London) - very impressive fighter, 1st time seeing him but well rounded fighter
          * Houston Alexander - awesome display, powerful guy and a mean fuc#er at that
          * Marcus Davis - very good fight, looked quite impressive although thought he was gone after the head kick
          * Cro Cop - shocking performance, not sure we'll see him back in the ring again. In fairness, Kongo is a monster but I don't think Cro Cop hit him with one clean strike all night, didn't look interested at all, biggest disappointment of all
          * Bispin - home town decision, no way he beat Hamill, not in a million years. How 2 x judges can score it 29-28 to Bispin with the other scoring 30-27 for Hamill is beyond me - thought Hamill took the decision very gracefully though, a lot more so than I would have done !!
          * Jackson - fair decision, no arguements but disappointing fight. Rampage looking better each fight, very intimidating but Henderson matched him on many aspects but didn't do enough to win rounds never mind the fight

Roll on UFC76, let's hope the big fighters turn up for this one though !!!

Hammill only has himself to blame for losing that fight. The first round should have given him enough encouragement to go for the knockout.

He may have thought he did enough to edge the decision but he could have put it beyond doubt.
It's not good because it's rude. It's good because it looks like it's good because it's rude.

Yeah I agree with that, the only thing I would say though, is it may have been fatigue, even still, he had Bisping well rattled going back to his corner after the first round.

The Bisping decision was shocking, he knew he'd lost that fight and so did everyone else. He's getting caught up in his own hype right now and his ego is taking over. He needs to be brought back down to earth sharpish or he's going to piss it all away.

Hamill is a very, very good fighter and I can see him going far in that weight class. Naturally a wrestler and has heavy hands too.

Again, Cro Cop did nothing to show me that he can mix it in the octagon, he just seems too relaxed and passive, almost too clinical if you will. I can see him gettting one more shot and after that, its back to Pride.

As for the rest of the event, see homer1's post .

They were saying before the event that Cro Cop only had intentions of doing 4 fights when he signed up to the UFC, presumably the plan was to knock the boll#x out of Gonzaga, then beat Randy for the title, 2 x title defences and retire at the top ........... how things have gone tits up since He's already 3 fights in so will he extend his stay or simply throw his hat at it?

After his first shambolic appearance I really thought he would put on an exhibition performance last week but he was dreadful - in saying that Kongo is a monster, wouldn't say an excellent fighter but a man-mountain

The UFC have bought Pride, So there is no going back to Pride for Cro Cop.
Pride is now the UFC, thats was Henderson was fighting Jackson.

On a side note Baz, read an interview with Tito Ortiz the other day - didn't realise there was so much bad blood between him and Dana White !! Labelled him a control freak, that UFC were buying up all other organisations to have the monopoly which is good for viewers to see all the best fighters together but not necessarily for fighters and had a go at Chuck for being a puppet of Dana's.

Dana was interviewed apparantly and said there was a huge billboard of a monkey's face (Ortiz) in Vegas scaring all the kids and that he was sick of seeing his face everywhere and accused him of backing out of a boxing match with White which had been earmarked for earlier this year

Some hard hitting stuff on both sides

I was aware of the buy out, just assumed he'd go back to familiar territory.

I know what you mean, maybe the UFC will let him, I thought he has a 6 fight contract. I could be wrong. He was getting big money from the UFC anyway, millions rather than thousands.

                              yeah I know.
CroCop said himself, he could not turn down the money, it was just too much.
He was that big in Japan the UFC thought he was worth it.
