I agree with you Reds. The other teams defense get paid a lot of money to shut down other teams offenses.

I really think if the Pats go to the Superbowl and lose it would be the biggest upset ever in the history of sports. They are really amazing to watch.

yeh they are amazing to watch esp now they have Moss, Brady has never had a better WR.
Surely they can't lose it after this superb start.

I hope it comes back to bite them on the arse, and Brady gets concussed or something on a QB keeper on fourth and one when they're already up 60-10 with 5 mins left in the fourth, they're out of order.
Brady was taken out of the game at the start of the 4th quarter, they only scored their last touch on a fumble return. After Brady left they mainly just ran the ball to eat up time until the finish.

But dont you think its a little weird that they excel in all other positions but the QB ?
          GO COWBOYS
Hows it going RS? Maybe they dont get the same opportunities in the system from high school thru to college thru to the majors? It is weird though.

fine mate, how are you ?
so you're saying that in high schools black QB do not have the chance to play that position cos whites mostly take that up !
If thats the case then you have a very good point about development,.

I think it's because in HS the black athletes are far more skilled so instead of playing QB they usually are RB or WR so they touch the ball and use their speed/athleticism more. Get a big white guy with a strong arm and no speed to to throw the ball.

TBH I dont know enough about the NFL feeder programs to say for certain but that would certainly be a very good reason. In the Australian Football League there is a similar theory about our Aboriginal players. Some say they cannot play as defenders because they are too lazy and not disciplined enough to play tight and this is due to the way the are brought up to play footy as kids and juniors. That they are not taught the defensive skills of the game and like to go 'walkabout' instead of concentrating.

Aboriginals who make it also tend to be amazing athletes with great ball control and evasive skills and can do uncanny things with the football (im not sure if you are familiar with our game). I reckon they stand out because there are so few of them not because of some inherent magic ability they are born with.

You would struggle to name a handful of truly great Aboriginal defenders in the AFL but the theory is crap. Its about opportunity, body size, strength, development, needs of the team, ability, and so on not because they are naturally or culturally lazy or have more sensitive twitch fibres or whatever.

Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor was shot at his Florida home Monday morning, sources tell WSVN-TV in Miami.

The Redskins free safety was in surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Taylor, who had on the Redskins' injured list for the second straight week due to a right knee sprain, was shot in the leg and the bullet reportedly struck the femoral artery. The incident occurred at his home in the Palmetto Bay section of Miami.

Pats pass defence looked very ordinary last night, only some bad choices by Feeley towards the end of the game prevented the Eagles from winning.

We'll rebuild through the draft and be back to take the Superbowl home in 3 years.

Assuming you stick with Beck, Dorsey will be a mint pick. Unless CamCam goes insane and decides he wants McFadden.

Yeah but DMac is a freak though he ran all over my LSU Tigers last Friday and crushed our national championship hopes. If he trades Ronnie Brown gets a first round pick plsu drafts DMac then I'd be happy with that. Players like McFadden only come around every once in a while. On top of that, I'm always cautious of drafting a Defensive Tackle with the number one pick even though Dorsey is a beast and our defensive line is aging.

What a great match last night. Cowboys showing the rest of the league they really mean buisness. A key play was the pass intference on the Pac defence in the 4th quarter, there was contact before the legs got tangled up.
That young fella Aaron Rodgers did a good job for the Packers when Favre got injured.
