God I love it when the Pukes lose.

Last year after they lost Homo cried and now this year old TO has a cry.

My hatred for Dallas is on par with my hatred for Man Utd.

I'm glad the Cowboys lost but I don't think childishly calling Romo 'Homo' really adds anything, Radar.

The Packers were impressive I thought. I didn't see The Patriots' match.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

The Jags actually had a pretty good game plan and didn't give anything big up to the Pats offense - apart from one 33 yard gain by Maroney. Unfortunately the Pats are that good they just "dinked & dunked" their way down the field and still scored four touchdowns.

It was close in the first half but the Pats used the third quarter as the "championship quarter" and pulled away.

If the Bolts beat the Pats next week it would be a HUGE upset.

Yeah but isn't Gates (not a 100%), LT and Rivers hurt

                You're right.

So, if the Bolts win without those three it would be a MONUMENTAL upset.

Can't see it though. Brady will probably throw 29/30, Moss will catch 3 TD's and Maroney will have over 100 yards rushing.

More intriguing is Giants @ Packers - hopefully in the Lambeau snow.

The two venues I wish to visit in my lifetime: Anfield and Lambeau Field.

America's National Football League will return to the UK in 2008 after last October's successful debut at Wembley.
New York beat Miami before a crowd of 81,176 in the first regular-season game ever held outside the Americas.

London is in the running to host its second game but Cardiff's Millennium Stadium and Murrayfield in Edinburgh are also believed to be candidates.

The venue and teams involved are expected to be confirmed in the week before the Super Bowl, on 3 February.

"The game in London was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the entire 2007 season," said NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

"The fan interest was tremendous. The passion they demonstrated for our sport that day continued throughout the season, as television viewership in the UK has grown by 40% since the game."

NFL UK managing director Alistair Kirkwood said: "Clearly, the fans - with their passion and enthusiasm - have convinced the NFL that the UK should be rewarded with another game in 2008.

"We are very excited as we begin preparations for that game and conclude this historic season next month with BBC TV showing its first-ever Super Bowl."

Wembley came under fire for the standard of its field after a rain-hit game, in which players struggled with their footing.

The turf was still a problem a month later, when England's football team crashed out of Euro 2008 with defeat to Croatia.

Roger Lewis, chief executive of the Wales Rugby Union, which owns the Millennium Stadium, hopes Cardiff's retractable roof will count in its favour.

"We would welcome them coming to the Millennium Stadium. We think we are the perfect fit for them," he told the Financial Times, adding that talks with the NFL were continuing.

"We have a retractable roof, which permits a rain-free fixture, and we have one of the finest pitches in world rugby."

Cardiff has not hosted professional American football before.

But Murrayfield was home to the Scottish Claymores of NFL Europe between 1995 and 2004 and the World Bowl championship game in 1996.

Meanwhile, the Giants, who won 13-10 at Wembley, have confounded those who feared the London game would upset their routine by reaching the final four of this year's play-offs.

Coach Tom Coughlin's side take on Green Bay in Sunday's NFC Championship game for a place at Super Bowl XLII on 3 February.
The future you have, tomorrow, won't be the same future you had, yesterday.

Saprano is a good asst coach but wether he can hack it as a head coach is a different matter.
I predict another 1-15 for the Phins next season
