Sorry for being terribly cynical but this is always the first thing to spring to my mind anytime anyone does anything spectacular in athletics these days, which is really unfair on the honest athletes out there.

Exactly what I think when I hear these results.

Every athlete who performs in this fashion does so with a certain amount of suspicion placed on him/her. Sad state of affairs. Maybe they should just let them use certain enhancing drugs.

Powell is clearly fast as his times show but it shows he feels under pressure in tournaments and that is why he may never win any of the championships. He always sets the new best in smaller meets with little atmosphere.

Some scientist feels he has the style of running to absolutely shatter this world record, because of his fast start, but he cant maintain the speed later on the race, unlike Tyson gay who has a lot of speed once get gets into it.
