Oh come on, it wasn't like the World Cup was memorable for anything else. I can't even remember who won it..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Picking Snape one of the most successful 20/20 players made sense what didn't was dropping MaddyOriginally posted by animal magic View Postwhy was snape picked it weakened the batting and he only bowled 1 over terrible selection

England never looked like getting the required total, hardly any boundaries, poor poor poor, or is that typical England? We come not to play.

Yet again another game that we create and we suck at it.
Half of the players shouldn't have been picked in the squad, more experienced players should have gone, just because they don't play international cricket at lest or ODI level doesn't mean that they can't compete in something that they have far more experience in than most other nationalities.

I agree with AM, picking Snape was one of the worst decisions in English cricket for about 10 years, since the days when we picked Ian SalisburyOriginally posted by Frodo View PostPicking Snape one of the most successful 20/20 players made sense what didn't was dropping Maddy

Snape may have a good record in English county 20/20 but that is because all our half decent players are off playing Tests or 1-day series not ****ing about in 20/20 leagues.
Snape may or may not be a nice fella, but he is mediocre on his day at cricket. He is never, was never and will never be a international cricketer. He isn't ood enough, his technique is shockingly limited and his bowling isn't much better.
Snape shouldn't even be in the ****ing squad LET ALONE batting ahead of DM or Broad
This decision has convinced me that Peter Moores hasn't got a ****ing clue with regards international cricket. The sooner he's booted, the better

Snape was woefully out of his depth. I was incandescent when he appeared instead of Mascarenhas.
Prior ****ing annoys me too. He's a horrible batsman. A slogger who rarely hits it out of the screws. He may have scored 32 today but his innings was scratchy, ugly and didn't do us much good.
Yet again, while all other teams are making hay in the powerplays, boring boring England are "having a look at it" and plodding along at 4 an over - losing wickets as we go. ****ing garbage. Our mentality is old-fashioned, way over-cautious and out-dated.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
