Dravid quits India captaincy role

Batsman Rahul Dravid has resigned as captain of India.
He informed the Board of Control (BBCI) only hours before India's match against Pakistan at the ICC World Twenty20 in South Africa.
Dravid opted out of the tournament, along with Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar, but his decision will come as a huge surprise to Indian fans.
He took over as skipper in October 2005 and recently led the team to a 1-0 Test series victory in England.
In all, the 34-year-old led India in 25 Tests, winning eight, losing six and drawing 11, and 79 one-day internationals.
And the board now faces a difficult choice over who should replace him for forthcoming series against Australia and Pakistan.
They could turn again to Ganguly, who lost the job after falling out with former national team coach Greg Chappell, or Tendulkar.
But they may instead decide to seek a younger leader like wicket-keeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is leading the team in South Africa, or Yuvraj Singh.

Hope they make Yuvraj captain as i think it would put too much pressure on Dhoni if he was wicketkeeper, batsman & captain. you only have to look at how it affected Alec Stewart when he was England captain.
