Didnt see it, is it worth watching, and what days is it on?
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I saw it and thought it was boss.
          I love the contender series.

Paul Smith didn't get much airtime but I think he's got a decent chance of winning. Was good when he said that he doesn't wanna be friends with any of the other team as he has to fight them and wants to smash their face in !!!

yeah ,i thought the 1st 2 episodes were decent also, hopefully it is more like series 1 than series 2. The only down side for me was i got a phone call just as the fight started it and missed it all.

looking forward to seeing Smith fight. His trainer for the show seems to think he has a real chance.

bazza76 = looking at the TV guide, there is an episode on itv4 tommorw starting at 11pm, and therese 2 episodes on friday from 10.30pm...not sure if they are repeats of the 1st 2 episodes lastnight or new episodes.

Felly - the bet made between Sugar Ray and Oscar DL Hoya never materialised because the event was called off. I checked it up on the net as it was scheduled for Sept 15th. Just thought you might wanna know like.

Yeah Smith is definitely well thought of. Should be good seeing him in action.
