Ali vs Frazier- 'Thriller in Manila'

I watched the 'Rumble in the Jungle' the other night for the first time and thought it was a great fight. So was wondering what the 'Thriller in Manila' was like, as i seen it cheap on dvd today and was wondering if i should pick it up.

Quality fight.

Both men fought to a complete standstill. There was serious concern for both Frazier and Ali's health at the end of the fight.

How'd you find it?

I enjoyed it mate. I didnt know the outcome of the fight, so didnt know that it finished after the 14th. Does anyone know why it was stopped ,as it wasnt expained propley on the dvd i watched. Was it an injury or didnt the referee see Fraizer fit to continue, (he did have a pretty bad selleing on his face).

The fight was stopped because both men spent the previous40 minutes or so punching the utter ****e out of each other. I think both corners feared for the health of the fighters during the later rounds.
