Easy fight for Khan. I really hope that Frank Warren puts him in with a live fighter soon. These two or three round blow outs, while they may make him look impressive, do no good for Khan in the long run. He needs to be tested more regularly and be in much tougher fights if he's to step up and fight the world champions at Lightweight.

Juan Diaz and David Diaz would give Khan major problems at the moment simply because they've fought more regularly at a higher level against much tougher opponents. Unless Khan fights some real competition soon there's no way he'd be ready for a crack at them in a couple of fights.

He fights at Light-Welterweight so it wouldn't be to hard an ask for Khan but if he wants to be taken seriously he has to fight the best at his weight instead of trying for the easy route.

The real competition is in America obviously and that fight between the two of them looks good.

He is still too young and inexperienced to fight there. He needs to become a world champion, defend that for a good 10 matches and then when he is around 26 start to make a television deal with HBO or Showtime and take it from there

The thing is though I don't see him getting a title shot unless he goes to America. Juan Diaz holds the WBO and WBA belts and He's fighting Julio Diaz, the IBF champion, in a unification match next month. The winner of that will be the man a Lightweight and why would they travel here to defend their belts? They don't have to so Khan would have to go to them.

That only leaves David Diaz, the WBC Champion, who is scheduled to fight Erik Morales. I can't see the winner of that traveling over here either.

Khan will have no choice but to go over there if he's going to win the a world title soon. The fact that one man will hold three belts at once will go against him because it means he has less options.

His only hope is that he works his way up the rankings to be made mandatory for a title, which will take alot longer than a couple of fights. Even then he'd have to go to the champion unless the fighter relinquishes the title and Khan fights for a vacant title. Not the best way to go because you're classed as a paper champion if that happens.

Or they could get him to the position of number on contender with one of the top organisations and force a situation where they don't agree terms with the other fighters promoters and let the negotiations go to purse bids and try and win the rights to the fight that way.

Either way it's a long process and it'll take more than a few fights to get to where they want to be.

The unification match I think will signal the retirement for one of them unless there is heavy money for a rematch which I could see happening. This could be as good as the Barrera- Morales classics.

I think Khan still has years left, remember he is only turning 21 this December. He has time and at this moment, Frank Warren wants Khan to build up some confidence, ring intelligence, become the best in England and comfortably beat his opponents and I mean decent opposition then in a few years when the dust is settled between Diaz and Diaz and hopefully they would have had to split the belts, then could be his opportunity to go to the States but it is a long process. Remember, this is Hatton's second fight in the States and he plans on retiring if he beats Mayweather so I would expect Khan to have the same plan within the next ten years.

Both the Diaz's are young, mid twenties at most, infact Juan Diaz is only 22, and neither will retire should they lose the upcoming fight. The only way the belts will be split is if one of the fighters relinquishes a title but believe me if they do that Khan is still some way down the pecking order for a mandatory shot at a vacant title.

Hatton's next fight is his 7th in America, his 4th fight topping the bill over there, and he has absolutely no plans to retire win, lose or draw against Mayweather.

Hatton will fight De La Hoya next if he wins maybe Witter if he loses but Ricky is on record saying that he'll fight on for a few years yet.

Obviously its all about the money. This is Hattons first major major pay day and if he wins he will have a lot more to come

I wouldn't say that. Hatton made 3 million for fighting Castillo and 2 million for the Urango fight so he's made some good money. Even if he loses Hattons stock will rise for having the Mayweather fight and he'll still be a big draw should he chose to move back down to Light-Welter and fight someone like Malliagnagi.

I honestly don't think it's about the money for Hatton now because he's made a few bob. It's about fighting the best and trying to prove himself.

thing is Khan thinks he'll be ready for a title fight in 5 fights time, whereas Warren wants him to get more experience. I think Khan is being a bit optimistic about having a title fight so soon, but money talks and his challenge would be wirth mega bucks.

There was a short Enger-land.. Enger-land chant - drowned out though by Khan's fans. I suppose ther eis always going to be a minority who will never accept Khan as a British fighter because of his ethnic origin. Sad.
